Run, Jump & Throw Squad

This program is designed for our marvellous Mini A’s; 3-4 year olds who love to run, jump & throw – the core skills of track and field athletics. Our sessions are fun, dynamic and packed with activities that enhance coordination, boost fitness and develop important listening and teamwork skills. It's the perfect way to introduce young children to the world of athletics in an exciting and supportive environment.

Track & Field Athletics

These squads are tailored for our Junior A’s; ages 5-9 years old. The track and field sessions cover sprinting, middle-distance running, hurdles, high jump, long jump, relays, javelin, and shot put. During the hotter months, our morning sessions move indoors, incorporating circuit training and tribal-based fitness activities. Each session is designed to equip young athletes with the confidence and skills to excel in various sporting disciplines while enhancing strength, fitness and coordination.

These squads cater to our Intermediate A’s & Senior A’s; focusing on 60m/100m/200m sprinting, hurdles, relays, and 400m training. Sessions emphasise correct form, race strategies and endurance development. Each session is designed to build strength, refine technical abilities, and boost confidence, preparing athletes to excel in a variety of sprint disciplines and competitive events.

Sprint Squads

This program is designed for athletes dedicated to mastering middle-distance elements of track athletics, focusing on 800m, 1500m, and 3000m events. Participants will develop the skills and strategies needed for competitive racing in events such as BSME, ADISSA, and beyond. Though not compulsory, athletes are encouraged to use running spikes to optimise their training and performance.

Middle Distance Squads

These sessions take place on the Yas Marina Circuit Track; Yas Island, along with Yas Bay and it’s surrounding areas. Designed to enhance cardiovascular endurance, the sessions focus on both cycling and long-distance running. Athletes will build an excellent base-level fitness that supports performance across all sports while preparing for competitive events such as duathlons, triathlons, cycling races and middle to long-distance running.
