My Name is Coach Kim and I have been a coach at Athletics Academy since 2023. I grew up in London where sport played a significant part in my life growing up.I developed a wide array of skills such as hard work, self-belief and communication, which are all qualities that play pivotal part in my life today as a father, a teacher and a coach.

Team events have always been my passion, as it is a moment when you work together to achieve a common goal and celebrate the successes together. I competed in a number of sports throughout my life, but the highlight was when I went to Croatia to compete and represent England in the World Corporate Games. My inspiration has always been my father, whose relentless pursuit to be a better athlete and a better human always inspired me. He was a coach himself and witnessing him inspire teams and communicate with such knowledge and passion was always something that I wanted to emulate. My aim and passion today is to let the children enjoy athletics, learning through participation and to coach each and every individual to maximise their potential.
